AIP Publishing

The American Institute of Physics (AIP) is a nonprofit federation that advances the physical sciences through publishing, education, policy, and outreach. AIP publishes Physics Today and—via its AIP Publishing subsidiary—many peer‑reviewed scientific journals, and it runs the Statistical Research Center, career services, history programs, and public‑facing communications. The organization advocates for science policy and funding, supports member societies and researchers, and provides resources for educators, students, and the general public. Its mission is to promote the advancement and diffusion of the knowledge of physics and its practical applications.
