Cascade Climate is a philanthropy-backed nonprofit that accelerates high-potential climate solutions that remain on the margins of mainstream action. It leads ambitious initiatives across markets, policy, and science to overcome bottlenecks to rapid decarbonization, durable carbon removal, and near-term mitigation. Key focus areas include enhanced rock weathering (ERW), super-pollutant mitigation, voluntary climate finance, and data-sharing tools and technical guidance to enable rigorous carbon removal quantification. Cascade’s work aims to build evidence, drive down costs, and de-risk real-world deployments so promising approaches can scale from pilot to mainstream.
