Girl Effect

Girl Effect is a global nonprofit that uses media, mobile technology, and evidence-based communications to improve the lives of adolescent girls in low- and middle-income countries. They design age-appropriate content, digital platforms, campaigns and services that drive positive behavior change across health, education and economic opportunity. Working with governments, NGOs, donors and private-sector partners, Girl Effect combines creative storytelling, human-centered design and research to scale impact and measure outcomes. Their work aims to give girls the information, skills and agency to make healthier, safer and more prosperous life choices.
