GiveWell is an independent nonprofit research organization that helps donors maximize the impact of their giving by conducting rigorous, evidence-based evaluations of charities and interventions. It rates and recommends “top charities” based on effectiveness, cost‑effectiveness, transparency, and quality of evidence, and publishes detailed reviews, data, and models to support donors’ decisions.
