The Good Food Institute

The Good Food Institute (GFI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit think tank that accelerates the development and adoption of plant‑based and cultivated meat, eggs, and dairy to create a more sustainable, healthy, and humane global food system. GFI supports scientists, entrepreneurs, and policymakers with open research, technical assistance, market intelligence, corporate engagement, and policy advocacy to lower barriers to next‑generation proteins. Operating globally, it funds and publishes research, helps companies scale and commercialize alternatives to conventional animal agriculture, and advances regulatory and investment pathways to make these products widely available.
