The 1:1 Aide provides individualized support to students with disabilities and additional physical support needs in and outside of the classroom, following their IEPs. The role focuses on ensuring student safety, access, and participation in the school day, including assistance with mobility, toileting, and meals. The aide contributes to the academic program by supporting instructional activities, interventions, and assessments while helping maintain a positive school culture.
