1:1 Behavior Aide

The 1:1 Behavior Aide works one-on-one with a student with an identified disability in a classroom setting, providing constant support and supervision to help them navigate routines, build positive behaviors, and grow socially and emotionally. The role involves implementing academic and behavioral goals in adherence with the student's IEP and BIP, collecting daily data, and assisting with transitions and adaptations. The aide also provides de-escalation and interventions when necessary, participates in relevant meetings, and maintains a professional demeanor while fostering positive relationships.
