Northrop Grumman is seeking an entry-level Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer to join the Threat Systems Engineering team in Colorado Springs. The role involves developing high-fidelity ballistic and hypersonic kinematic threat models using advanced engineering algorithms within a Ground Test architecture. Successful candidates will support the Missile Defense Agency by ensuring accurate portrayal of missile and space launch vehicle behaviors during all flight phases.

Responsibilities

Develop ballistic and advanced hypersonic kinematic threat models
Apply engineering algorithms to model missile behavioral characteristics
Support threat data operations within Ground Test architectures
Document model generation frameworks for delivery schedules
Analyze kinematic missile modeling and IR signature data
