About this role

Alcon is hiring motivated PhD candidates for its 3-year Envision Rotational Program in Research & Development across locations in John's Creek, GA and Fort Worth, TX. Participants will rotate through teams focused on Analytical Chemistry, Vision Care R&D, and Extraocular Devices, working on meaningful projects that advance eye health and care for patients.

Responsibilities

Independently develop new analytical methods and execute complex laboratory studies
Conduct process development and manufacturing studies for vision care products
Design and conduct experiments to test new ideas in extraocular devices
Prepare high-quality technical documents and reports for scientific solutions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including designers and data scientists

Skills

Qualifications

PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or related majorMinimum cumulative GPA of 2.8Authorized to work in the US permanentlyCommitment to full-time 3-year rotational program
