2026 Intern, PhD Research Scientist

This role is an internship/co-op research position focused on advancing AI algorithms for autonomous driving at Waabi. The intern will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop and test novel methods across areas such as perception, prediction, planning, controls, and simulation for self-driving vehicles. The position emphasizes cutting-edge, publishable research and close collaboration with experienced research scientists and engineers. It is based in Toronto, ON with the opportunity to contribute directly to Waabi’s next-generation self-driving technology.
