AFJ (Alliance for Justice) is a Washington, D.C.–based nonprofit legal advocacy group that works to protect the federal judiciary and defend civil rights, civil liberties, and access to justice. The organization conducts research and policy analysis, monitors judicial nominations and confirmation processes, and files amicus briefs to shape outcomes in key cases. AFJ also builds coalitions, mobilizes grassroots advocacy, and provides training and strategic support to lawyers and advocates working on voting rights, consumer protections, and equitable enforcement of the law.
