Public Counsel
The Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) Salem Public Defender Division is seeking law student interns for the 2027 Spring semester. Interns will work closely with attorneys, social workers, and investigators to provide legal representation and advocacy for indigent clients charged with criminal offenses, gaining experience in legal research, courtroom advocacy, and pretrial investigations.
Public Counsel provides pro bono law for children, families, veterans, students, immigrants, nonprofits and small businesses.
