About this role

Thales is seeking an experienced Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor to oversee and standardize A330 type rating training at RAF Brize Norton. This pivotal role involves leading the instructor team, ensuring regulatory compliance with UK CAA requirements, and developing high-quality training documentation for military and civilian aircrew. The successful candidate will act as the Nominated Person for Training, driving continuous improvement in instructional delivery and maintaining rigorous quality assurance standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee and standardize theoretical knowledge instruction for A330 type rating courses
Lead and mentor the instructor team to ensure highest training delivery standards
Develop and maintain technical courseware and training manuals for regulatory approval
Conduct internal audits and compliance monitoring within the Ground School environment
Manage examination materials and coordinate annual technical assessment packages
