AADT Traffic Volume Field Data Collection

This position supports the Center for Transportation Research by conducting field-based transportation data collection and documentation for the Tennessee Department of Transportation's Annual Average Daily Traffic counting program. The role involves deploying and retrieving traffic-counting equipment, processing and quality-assuring data, maintaining inventory, and performing manual and video traffic counts across the state. The position requires independent fieldwork, frequent overnight travel, and collaboration with TDOT and CTR staff to ensure accurate data delivery.
