About this role

The Division of Cardiovascular Sciences, Section of General & Preventive Cardiology, is seeking an academic electrophysiologist for a full-time position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology care, including catheter ablation and device implantation, while contributing to the educational mission of the Morsani College of Medicine. The position also encourages participation in ongoing research and administrative duties within the university and affiliated hospitals.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology care in the Electrophysiology Service line
Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows rotating through EP Labs and Cardiology service lines
Participate in ongoing research and seek funding for research within the Department and University

Qualifications

Doctoral degree from an accredited institutionFull, unrestricted Florida Medical LicenseBoard Certified/Eligible in General CardiologyBoard Certified/Eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
