City of Beaumont
The Access and Privacy Lead leads the City of Beaumont's enterprise access and privacy management program, ensuring compliance with Alberta's Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Acts. This role involves developing governance frameworks, conducting Privacy Impact Assessments, managing breach responses, and fostering a culture of privacy awareness across the organization. The position requires strategic leadership to embed privacy principles into municipal operations and digital transformation initiatives while advising senior leadership on legislative compliance.
The City of Beaumont, Texas official website is the municipal portal for residents, businesses, and visitors, offering everything needed to live, work, and play in Beaumont. It centralizes city government information — elected officials, council agendas, public safety and emergency updates — alongside services such as utilities, permits and licensing, parks and recreation, local news, and community events. The site also provides online tools for bill payments, service requests, permit applications, and reporting issues to streamline citizen interactions with city departments. Designed responsively, it aims to improve transparency and make city services and resources easy to find.
