Accountant

The Accounting team at SimplePractice is responsible for understanding and telling the company's financial story while shaping the collective understanding of business performance. This role involves owning key accounting areas and processes that support the recognition and reporting of financial results. The position requires partnering with stakeholders across Finance, People, Legal, Product, and Engineering to advise on the accounting treatment of business initiatives and transactions. The role also includes taking ownership of balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations, supporting internal and external reporting, and helping implement and maintain effective controls as the company scales.
