Accounting Technician III

The Accounting Technician III performs advanced technical accounting work within the Brunswick County Health Services Accounting Division, overseeing accounts payable functions, reconciling financial accounts, and preparing fiscal records and reports. This role ensures the accuracy of financial information and compliance with federal, state, and county requirements while serving as a trained backup to the Business Officer. The position also supports budget development, state reporting, Medicaid Cost Settlement, audit preparation, and the training of fiscal staff.
