About this role

This role is an entry-level Actuarial Development Program position at Transamerica for recent graduates or students progressing toward SOA Fellowship. Participants rotate through different business units to analyze actuarial data, support modeling and pricing, and prepare financial reports. The program includes paid study time for exams and covers SOA exam fees to support professional certification.

Responsibilities

Analyze premium and loss data using statistical programs
Support actuarial studies, projects, and reports by compiling data
Develop and enhance insurance products through forecasting and trend assessment
Verify information used in computations and input data into models
Assist in preparation of financial statements and actuarial schedules

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related fieldCompletion of at least one SOA actuarial examActive participation in the Actuarial Student Program
