The Addictions Specialist / Chemical Dependency Counselor provides assessment, counseling, case management, and referral services to individuals experiencing substance use disorders within the Navigation Center. The role utilizes a trauma-informed, strength-based, recovery-oriented approach to support participants in achieving safety, engagement, and connection to appropriate care. This position serves as a resource to participants, staff, and community partners by maintaining knowledge of local behavioral health and substance use treatment systems.
VOA Colorado services include housing and emergency shelters, hunger and nutrition services, and many other community support programs.
