Administrative Assistant II

This position performs highly responsible, confidential, and complex administrative and secretarial tasks to support the Water Department head or supervisor. The role involves managing departmental records, assisting with budget preparation, handling public inquiries, and coordinating meetings and travel arrangements. It also requires maintaining personnel reports, processing correspondence, and operating various office software and equipment. The position serves as a first responder during citywide emergencies and may be required to obtain a Water distribution or Wastewater License.
