The Adult Protective Service Worker (APSW) role supports adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently, safely, and securely as possible in their communities. The position focuses on ensuring each person’s support plan reflects their individual goals, dreams, and aspirations while promoting inclusion and social justice. The APSW works across multiple communities in and around Kenora, helping individuals and families access and maintain needed services and supports. The role is grounded in KACL’s values and aims to create conditions where people feel safe, empowered, and able to thrive.
