About this role

A Roving Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) provides immediate treatment and transportation for sick and injured individuals across Central Alberta, including Innisfail, Ponoka, and Wetaskiwin. This role involves operating emergency vehicles, making critical medical decisions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals in hazardous environments. The ACP is responsible for maintaining vehicle readiness, documenting patient care, and upholding high standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Provide immediate treatment and transportation for sick and injured individuals
Safely operate emergency vehicles in accordance with health and safety guidelines
Make critical medical decisions and lead care during emergency situations
Document all patient care, assessments, and skills in patient care reports
Collaborate with outside agencies and healthcare teams for coordinated patient care
