About this role

This role provides manufacturing support and guidance to the Future of Flight Mechanical Design team to ensure the manufacturability of new designs for GE Aerospace's next generation products. The engineer will be embedded with the design engineering team to balance performance and producibility, applying engineering concepts to eliminate future manufacturing issues. The position requires leading and influencing through a changing product mix to meet functional, business, and company objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead producibility reviews and provide technical direction to design teams
Define datum schemes and fixturing concepts to align tolerances with process capability
Develop standard work for new technologies and industrialize design processes

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Engineering, or a related technical discipline
