Advanced Practice Provider - Surgery-Transplant

The Advanced Practice Provider will function as an advanced practitioner providing care for a caseload of patients in the area of Transplant Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch. The role involves working with Attending Surgeons to deliver direct in-patient and out-patient care, including examining patients, ordering diagnostic tests, and facilitating interdisciplinary communication. This position also encompasses patient education, discharge planning, and participation in clinical research and protocol development.
