About this role

The Advanced Visualization Engineering Internship supports Intermountain Health's IMPACT Center in patient-specific care, advanced visualization, and medical device development. Interns contribute to clinical and operational initiatives involving 3D printing, biomedical engineering, digital workflow transformation, and additive manufacturing technologies. This role provides hands-on experience in production, research, and implementation activities under the guidance of senior engineers.

Responsibilities

Support advanced visualization and patient-specific surgical planning
Assist with 3D printing, additive manufacturing, and post-processing
Participate in medical device development and prototyping activities
Conduct computational modeling and fluid dynamics research
Maintain technical documentation and quality management records
