About this role

The Subsurface Well Data Integration Specialist serves as a subject matter expert for well master data management, leading the creation, integration, and quality assurance of master databases for surface and subsurface data. This role involves translating business requirements into scalable data architectures, driving the adoption of OSDU standards, and supporting the migration from legacy systems to modern cloud-based platforms like AWS. The specialist collaborates with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate data lineage and governance across exploration and production domains.

Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into scalable cloud-optimized data architectures
Lead integration of existing subsurface systems with OSDU-compliant platforms
Monitor and maintain the Well Data Management Framework for data quality
Support migration from legacy ETL structures to modern microservice platforms
Validate petrophysical interpretations and manage trade well data for Geoscience teams

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Geoscience, Engineering, or Computer Science10+ years managing oil and gas geoscience technical data10+ years loading and managing well data in Landmark R5000 or Petrel StudioExpertise with Schlumberger's InnerLogix SuiteFamiliarity with OSDU Data Platform standards
