Food Banks Canada is the national charitable organization that provides leadership to relieve hunger today and prevent hunger tomorrow. It supports and represents a network of local food banks and partner agencies across Canada by offering resources, research, training, advocacy, and national programs. The organization conducts research and public reporting on food bank use and food insecurity, and leads public awareness and fundraising initiatives to mobilize support. Government, donors, and community partners work with Food Banks Canada to coordinate responses and policy solutions to reduce hunger.
