About this role

As an Aerodynamic UAV Simulation Engineer at Helsing, you will lead the aerodynamic analysis and characterization of current and future drone platforms using high-fidelity CFD and low-fidelity methods. You will generate comprehensive aerodynamic databases, plan physical validation tests including wind tunnel and flight campaigns, and collaborate with engineering teams to inform airframe design decisions. Responsibilities

Build and run low-fidelity aerodynamic models for early-stage concept designs
Execute high-fidelity 3D CFD simulations to resolve complex flow behaviors
Generate and maintain comprehensive aerodynamic databases for simulation teams
Define and plan physical validation test setups including wind tunnel campaigns
Automate simulation pipelines by scripting CAD-to-solver workflows in Python
