Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering - Open Rank Faculty

Tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at Saint Louis University, expected to be filled at the rank of Assistant Professor (higher ranks considered for exceptional candidates). The role is based at SLU’s St. Louis campus within the interdisciplinary School of Science and Engineering and targets candidates working in areas such as smart/adaptive aerospace structures, advanced aerospace materials, aeroelasticity, aerospace robotics, space structures, digital twins, autonomy, and AI/ML for aerospace systems. The institution is an R1 Catholic, Jesuit university with strong connections to the aerospace and defense industries and an emphasis on interdisciplinary campus research initiatives.
