Aerostat Operators

Aerostat Operators provide Operations and Sustainment support for the Persistent Surveillance Systems – Tethered program at OCONUS locations, delivering tactical and fixed site aerostats for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities. The role involves performing collection management, analyzing intelligence data, and maintaining systematic records while assisting with equipment emplacement and recovery. Operators conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks and procedures to ensure mission readiness.
