About this role

The Affordability Cost Modeler at RTX develops, executes, and maintains cost models to assess system affordability throughout the product lifecycle. The role works with engineering, operations, supply chain, and affordability teams to provide accurate, traceable cost data for lifecycle management and affordability commitments.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute cost models for development, production, and sustainment
Populate model inputs using validated engineering, operations, and financial data
Identify key cost drivers and assess impact of technical decisions
Perform sensitivity and variance analyses on cost outcomes
Maintain traceable documentation of assumptions and model updates

Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)Advanced degree in Mathematics, Data Analytics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or Business AnalyticsActive Top Secret security clearance
