About this role

Brown & Brown is seeking an Agency Development Manager to expand and strengthen their agency distribution channel by driving qualified quote submissions and increasing written premium. This role serves as a strategic business partner to agency partners, providing training, consultation, and ongoing support to help agencies maximize performance and achieve growth objectives. The position involves building strong relationships, delivering product guidance, and ensuring competitive product offerings while supporting the acquisition and retention of business.

Responsibilities

Develop and nurture relationships with assigned agents to drive qualified risk selection
Generate new premium growth through interaction with new and existing agencies
Deliver training and ongoing support to help agencies maximize performance
Serve as a subject matter expert on product offerings and core systems
Provide account management support and maintain accurate records using Salesforce

Skills

Qualifications

Active P&C insurance license (2-20)2-4 years Property & Casualty industry experience5+ years P&C experience (preferred)Previous Personal Lines Excess & Surplus experience (preferred)Previous account management or outside field sales experience (preferred)
