Les YMCA du Québec
The YMCA du Québec is seeking an engaged professional to join their first-line intervention service within a community and cultural living environment. The role involves building trust, facilitating active listening, crisis de-escalation, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders including aging populations, newcomers, and community organizations to promote social inclusion. Candidates will participate in training, refer clients to appropriate resources, and maintain detailed records to ensure safe cohabitation and support for all users.
YMCA du Québec is a provincial charitable organization operating a network of YMCA community centres across Quebec that offer sports, fitness and aquatics facilities, seasonal camps, and year‑round youth and community programs. It provides memberships, gym and pool access, group classes, swimming lessons, private training and leadership/safety training, plus child and youth services. The federation supports local sites through its foundation and fundraising, and serves members in both French and English while helping people find programs and locations across the province.
