About this role

This Senior role leads the design and delivery of Agentic AI and AI Ops solutions to enable intelligent, automated platform operations at Caterpillar. The position focuses on building production-grade AI systems, autonomous workflows, and integrating LLM-based applications with existing infrastructure to enhance reliability and efficiency. Candidates will provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers and establishing scalable patterns for the AI lifecycle while collaborating across DevOps and SRE teams.

Responsibilities

Design and implement agentic AI systems for multi-step workflows
Build and deploy AI-driven automation for incident detection and remediation
Develop production-grade LLM-based applications integrated with enterprise systems
