Agricultural Teacher

The Agricultural Teacher is responsible for implementing and managing the high school agricultural science program, providing students with learning activities to support their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. The role involves overseeing the Supervised Agricultural Experience Program, advising the local FFA chapter, and developing lesson plans that align with district curriculum and Texas Education Agency guidelines. The teacher will also assist with adult education programs, trap shooting, and extracurricular activities while maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment.
