About this role

A Cyber AI Deployment Engineer at OpenAI partners with customers to safely deploy AI models and agentic workflows for cybersecurity use cases. The role involves acting as a trusted technical advisor to security executives and practitioners, designing architectures, and delivering prototypes for applications like secure code review and threat modeling. You will collaborate across Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to translate customer needs into safe, scalable deployment patterns and reusable field assets.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery of AI-enabled cybersecurity workflows across AppSec and cloud security domains.
Build and deliver customer-facing demos, prototypes, and reference architectures using OpenAI tools.
Advise customers on safe implementation patterns including guardrails, telemetry, and sandboxing.
Translate between CISO-level outcomes and practitioner-level implementation details for stakeholders.
Validate findings and deliver high-signal feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
