A full-time engineering role in The Economist Group’s new AI Lab focused on exploring generative AI for journalism. The engineer will help build and ship zero-to-one LLM-powered systems that preserve The Economist’s editorial voice and test multimodal products (especially audio). The role involves close collaboration with design, product, and editorial teams and will directly influence how readers interact with the organisation’s journalism.
