AI Functional Safety Technical Lead

This role serves as the principal technical authority for integrating AI functional safety into Ford's software and quality engineering pipelines, driving the adoption of emerging AI-safety standards and regulatory compliance. The position involves leading the development of an AI in FuSa Health Dashboard, defining safety architectures for AI-driven features, and establishing governance models to ensure safe AI development across ADAS/AD and connected vehicle programs. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams to mature safety processes, manage regulatory readiness, and mentor technical teams in AI safety best practices.
