About this role

As an AI Governance & Security Architect at UMB, you will develop enterprise frameworks to ensure the ethical, secure, and compliant adoption of artificial intelligence within the financial organization. This role bridges cybersecurity, risk management, and AI lifecycle governance to safeguard sensitive data while meeting regulatory obligations across IT, risk, compliance, and business functions.

Responsibilities

Define and implement enterprise-wide AI governance frameworks for responsible AI use
Develop and enforce AI security standards aligned with regulatory requirements
Partner with risk and compliance teams to create AI model lifecycle policies
Oversee secure AI/ML solution deployment across on-premises and cloud environments
Conduct AI security risk assessments, threat modeling, and red team testing
