About this role

As an AI Penetration Tester at BMO, you will build and advance the organization's AI Security Testing capability by assessing large language models, AI agents, and GenAI solutions for emerging risks. You will partner with cybersecurity leaders and engineers to develop innovative adversarial testing methodologies, execute security assessments, and influence enterprise-wide AI security practices. This role involves conducting threat research, leading red team exercises, and producing technical reports to ensure secure adoption of AI technologies at scale.

Responsibilities

Conduct security assessments of AI systems, LLMs, and machine learning applications
Perform adversarial testing including prompt injection and model manipulation
Develop repeatable AI security testing methodologies and automation tools
Execute application, API, and cloud security testing for AI-enabled solutions
Produce technical reports and executive summaries communicating risks and recommendations

Skills

Qualifications

Post-secondary degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldMultiple Information Security certifications from recognized institutions (e.g., (ISC)2, ISACA, SANS)Expert knowledge of NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF)Expert knowledge of ISO 27001 and 27002Expert understanding of Information Security risk and regulatory requirements
