About this role

The AI QA Test Lead is a strategic quality and risk-management role responsible for ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and production readiness of the credit union's AI-driven experiences. This position owns the overall AI QA strategy, designing comprehensive testing plans for conversational and generative AI workflows while managing compliance, ethical guardrails, and vendor relationships. The leader serves as the final quality gate for AI releases, partnering with technical teams and business stakeholders to validate solutions and establish scalable testing practices.

Responsibilities

Design and execute comprehensive AI test plans covering functional accuracy and edge cases
Validate AI-generated responses for brand alignment and adherence to ethical guardrails
Lead end-to-end user acceptance testing and serve as the final quality gate for production releases
Establish scalable QA practices for prompt changes, model enhancements, and new AI capabilities
Monitor ethical AI guardrails including bias prevention and hallucination detection

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field3–7 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, or validation rolesAt least 2 years focused on AI, conversational AI, or automation platforms
