About this role

The AI Security Researcher at the CERT Division of Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute performs research into the robustness and security of AI systems, producing methods, tools, datasets, and recommendations that influence academia, industry, and national security. This role collaborates with government sponsors, industry partners, and academic communities to co-author proposals, execute studies, and present findings. The SEI is a federally funded research and development center (FFRDC) focused on applied cybersecurity and AI research.
