About this role

An engineering student will join a multi-disciplinary team at Thales Canada to support the Royal Canadian Navy's In-Service Support programs. This hybrid role involves documenting the Engineering Change process, developing tracking tools, and providing engineering support for conceptual designs and verification. The candidate will collaborate with system engineering managers to gain stakeholder agreement on system requirement changes.

Responsibilities

Support the development and documentation of the Engineering Change process
Develop tools to track and monitor progress of engineering changes
Provide engineering support for solution investigation and design phases
Create high-level conceptual designs for changes to ship systems
Assist in risk management and stakeholder agreement on requirements

Skills

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical, Systems, or Mechanical Engineering programEligibility for Canadian Enhanced Reliability security clearanceNATO Secret clearance
