Ambulance Operator

The Ambulance Operator operates city-owned ambulances and provides patient transport services as part of the ambulance transportation team. This full-time, non-safety position involves performing field procedures utilizing EMT-1 level skills, such as documenting vital signs, bandaging, splinting, and assisting firefighter/paramedics. The role is part of the Torrance Fire Department's "Grow Our Own" program, offering training for entry into a fire service career.
