The Medical Underwriter at AIA is part of the New Business and Underwriting function, helping preserve the company’s financial wellbeing by applying medical expertise to insurance risk assessment and product integrity. The role supports development of medical guidelines and panel doctor arrangements to ensure appropriate medical underwriting standards across customer segments. It contributes to operational consistency, guideline relevance, and cross-functional coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
