About this role

This role involves supporting the management of liquidity and funding risk within BMO Capital Markets through monitoring, analysis, and strategic balance sheet optimization. As part of the first line of defense, the incumbent partners with Global Markets and Corporate Treasury teams to ensure sound fund management and regulatory compliance. The position combines hands-on data analysis with infrastructure development to address evolving regulatory constraints and business needs.

Responsibilities

Monitor and report liquidity and funding risk metrics across Capital Markets
Produce accurate management information for balance sheet usage oversight
Partner with Technology to design analytical models for risk oversight
Develop automated reporting dashboards and data infrastructure
Perform variance analysis and scenario-based impact assessments
