Animal Control Officer

This position performs responsible office and fieldwork related to animal control, including receiving and dispatching radio and telephone messages, apprehending stray animals, and enforcing the City's Animal Control ordinance. The role involves investigating complaints, issuing citations, educating citizens on animal ownership responsibilities, and processing captured animals. The officer also assists with animal-related cases, participates in on-call rotations, and maintains detailed reports of enforcement activities.
