Application Engineer, Core Banking Modernization

The Application Engineer, Core Banking Modernization supports technical leadership in designing and implementing the capabilities needed to operate Navy Federal Credit Union's legacy and modern banking platforms as a unified ecosystem. This role focuses on the engineering of the Core Banking Platform, particularly dual-core coexistence, and partners with various teams to translate strategic objectives into scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions. The position requires expertise in core banking platforms, system integration, cloud-native architectures, and modernization methodologies to support the complete migration to a new core banking platform.
