About this role

The Applied AI Engineer will build, evolve, and operate the Capabilities Engine, a core platform enabling reliable and production-ready agentic behavior across Rocket Money's AI-powered experiences. This role involves designing system abstractions, partnering with cross-functional teams to integrate agentic capabilities, and developing evaluation loops to ensure safety, reliability, and observability. The engineer will translate ambiguous product needs into shippable technical plans, debug complex failures, and mentor other engineers to drive the group's technical direction.

Responsibilities
